Why we built it
Rockford deserves
better than a feed.
Finding out what's happening here meant piecing together scattered posts, a dead events calendar, and threads that had nothing to do with Rockford. Local video meant clickbait. Local news meant a paywall and an ad wall.
So we're building the version we wanted: one app where the events, the conversations, the clubs, the video, and the news are all actually local — and nothing in it is designed to keep you scrolling.
No bots, no brigading.
Real accounts, real people, real places. Discussions stay open and fair, and stay about here.
Not built to trap you.
No infinite scroll, no engagement bait. The goal is to get you out of the app and into the 815.
Money stays local.
Tickets, club dues, subscriptions, bookings — the people doing the work here get paid for it.
Come help build it.
Organizer, club, creator, or just someone with an opinion about Rockford — we want to hear from you.
